On January 16, 2026, Mayor Desulme hosted a community food distribution to support North Miami families. Through partnerships with Planet Harvest, Joshua’s Heart Foundation, and Jewish Community Services of South Florida, hundreds of families received groceries and essential resources. This effort helped ease the burden of rising costs while ensuring that families had access to the support they need. Volunteers and partners came together to serve with compassion and care.
